CURRIER BROOK FARM WENTWORTH NEW HAMPSHIRE

Currier Brook Farm is a 20 acre farm nestled at the base of the White Mountains and borders the Baker River. Currier Brook Farm offers pork, lamb eggs and seasonal produce from a farmstead which dates back to 1760. The farmstead still retains its charm from a bygone era with exposed post and beam, a working beehive oven and various outbuildings which were used for storing ice, vegetables, and blacksmithing. Carol and Amy Friedrich raise heritage breeds in a grass pasture based system and have much respect for the animals which feed their family and friends.

What is a meat CSA ?

~a "share" of mixed meat and poultry in exchange for a seasonal monetary commitment.

By joining a meat CSA, you are helping support our local family farm while providing your family with a healthy and nutritious source of meat. You are allowing us the guarantee that our meats will be sold and more easily let us plan for what our future needs will be. In return, you get a guaranteed amount of meat at a great deal that is raised without all of the hormones and antibiotics that have become a standard in the growing practices of many of the large factory farms. You can eat knowing that your meat came from animals that were allowed to roam pastures, eat grass, breathe fresh air and generally lead a happy life.

Our CSA will run for 6 months with a delivery once each month. You can expect to get an assortment of approximately 10lbs of meat every month.

Meats can include pork, whole chicken, lamb, and turkey There will be a variety of cuts and smoked meats including bacon, ribs, sausage, chops, steaks and ground meat. You will have the opportunity to request sausage flavors.

All of the chicken, pork, lamb and turkey are raised on our farm and eat quality pasture, grain and yogurt.

We guarantee that all of your meat is naturally raised on local farms in exceedingly humane environments. In fact if you are in the White Mountains, stop by!
